East Surry can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against the North Surry Greyhounds by a score of 4-1. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Greyhounds, too.

East Surry's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 4-6. As for North Surry, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Surry will venture away from home to square off against West Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Forsyth will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something East Surry surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Surry, they will head out on the road to take on West Wilkes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
