Softball Recap: Fulton Hornets vs. North Callaway Thunderbirds
Fulton was the 8-7 winner over North Callaway when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Fulton Hornets fell just short of the North Callaway Thunderbirds by a score of 5-3 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Hornets have suffered against the Thunderbirds since September 19, 2016.
Fulton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grace Evans, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
The loss snapped Fulton's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 17-9 record. As for North Callaway, their win bumped their record up to 21-12.
