Baseball Game Preview: Prince of Peace Eagles vs. Coram Deo Academy Lions

For the second straight game, Prince of Peace will face off against Coram Deo Academy. The Eagles will look to defend their home field on Thursday against the Lions at 6:30 p.m. Prince of Peace is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Prince of Peace turned things around against Coram Deo Academy on Tuesday. They blew past the Lions 8-2. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won six matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Hamilton Klint, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Clendaniel, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Klint wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Prince of Peace kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Prince of Peace's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 9-6-1. As for Coram Deo Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5-1.
