Basketball Recap: Clawson Comes Up Short

Clawson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through an 84-55 loss at the hands of the Sterling Heights Stallions. Even if the Trojans couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Clawson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Sterling Heights, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clawson will head out to challenge Lamphere at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sterling Heights, they will venture away from home to take on Hazel Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Stallions will be up against the Vikings' rather soft defense (which has allowed 56.77 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
