Sullivan dropped their record down to 9-5 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's 14-game streak of wins on the road dating back to last season. They fell 5-2 to the Edgewood Mustangs. The Golden Arrows were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Rachel Eslinger was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.

Coming up, Sullivan will host Riverton Parke at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Edgewood, they will head out to take on Linton-Stockton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Miners' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Mustangs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
