Volleyball Game Preview: Lancaster Red Devils vs. Middlesex Chargers

Lancaster hasn't had much luck against Middlesex recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Red Devils will head out on the road to challenge the Chargers at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lancaster is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They came out on top against Mathews by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Devils.

The final score came out to 25-22, 22-25, 25-13, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Middlesex made easy work of Northumberland on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Middlesex never let Northumberland on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 25-23.

Middlesex's victory bumped their record up to 22-2. As for Lancaster, their win bumped their record up to 21-5.

Lancaster skirted past Middlesex 2-1 in their previous meeting back in September. Will the Red Devils repeat their success, or do the Chargers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
