Basketball Recap: Bridgeport Bulldogs vs. Bellaire Big Reds
Bridgeport played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 82-54 loss at the hands of the Bellaire Big Reds. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Big Reds: they've now lost seven in a row.
Despite the defeat, Bridgeport saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jaleel Vincent posted 20 points along with six assists and three steals. That was a full 37% of Bridgeport's points, marking the eighth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
