Basketball Recap: Eldorado Takes a Loss

If Eldorado was riding high fresh off their 59-28 takedown of Cristo Rey St. Viator last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eldorado Firehawks had to suffer through a 57-24 loss at the hands of the Mary Star of the Sea Stars.

Eldorado's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Mary Star of the Sea, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Eldorado will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Silver Valley at 8:45 a.m. on January 2, 2025. As for Mary Star of the Sea, they will take on Kennedy in a tournament on Thursday.
