It's playoff time, and Pioneer had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 14-8 margin over the Hesperia Christian Patriots on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The win was the fourth in a row for Pioneer, bringing their record up to 15-12. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Hesperia Christian, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-12.

Looking ahead, Pioneer will take on Beverly Hills at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The Normans will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Titans surely won't give up without a fight. Hesperia Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
