Baseball Game Preview: Ringling Blue Devils vs. Walters Blue Devils

Ringling will head out to challenge Walters at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Walters took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Ringling, who comes in off a win.

While Blue Devils fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Tuesday's season opener. They were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over Waurika on Tuesday.

Empire hit Walters with a four-run fourth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Blue Devils came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 9-2.

Cooper Cormany was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Ringling got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April of 2018 against Walters by a conclusive 13-4 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ringling since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
