Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Garner). They took their match on Saturday with ease, bagging a 74-22 win over the Northwest Halifax Vikings. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 30 points or more this season.
Garner got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sumayah Jones out in front who went 12 for 18 on her way to 29 points and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave Jones a new career-high in points. Aniyah Williams was another key player, going 9 of 14 on her way to 20 points along with eight assists and seven boards.
