Soccer Game Preview: George Ranch vs. Alief Taylor

The George Ranch Longhorns will challenge the Alief Taylor Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. George Ranch's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

George Ranch fell victim to Fulshear and their airtight defense on Saturday. They lost 4-0 to the Chargers. While losing is never fun, the Longhorns can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 518th, while the Chargers are ranked 93rd).

Meanwhile, Alief Taylor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 4-2 to Strake Jesuit.

George Ranch's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Alief Taylor, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.
