The Lawrence North Wildcats will head out to challenge the Indianapolis Bishop Chatard Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lawrence North is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

Lawrence North is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 12 runs on Saturday, they were much more limited against Carmel on Tuesday. They fell 5-1 to the Greyhounds. The match marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Victoria Guyse was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run. Keyauri Jones also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, Indianapolis Bishop Chatard came up short against Perry Meridian on Monday and fell 14-10. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Olivia Maynard and Avery Gries stepped up to the plate in a big way. Maynard went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double, while Gries scored two runs while going 3-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of Megan Todd, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Lawrence North now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Indianapolis Bishop Chatard, they suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 6-4.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Wednesday. Lawrence North hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 1.2 home runs per game. However, it's not like Indianapolis Bishop Chatard struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.9 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.

Lawrence North took their victory against Indianapolis Bishop Chatard when the teams last played back in April of 2022 by a conclusive 19-3 score. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Trojans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
