There's no place like home for Sparta, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. Everything went their way against the Hurley Tigers on Tuesday as they made off with a 13-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.

Trent Eisman tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Braylen Luttrull, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-4. Those two home runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Phoenix Holt, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Sparta always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hurley only posted an OBP of .348.

Sparta now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Hurley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sparta will take on Gainesville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hurley, they will challenge Galena at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
