Baseball Recap: St. Helens Comes Up Short

St. Helens lost against Stayton back in March of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 4-3. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Helens now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Stayton, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Coming up, St. Helens will challenge Tillamook at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cheesemakers will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight. As for Stayton, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 15-5 victory against Gladstone on the 4th.
