Volleyball Recap: Islip Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Islip can now relate to. They fell 2-0 to the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans on Friday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Buccaneers haven't been shut out since back in October.

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake can attribute much of their success to Ella Chamberlain, who had nine digs and one assist.

Islip's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, their win bumped their record up to 34-9-3.

As of now, neither Islip nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
