Basketball Recap: Cedarcrest Comes Up Short

Cedarcrest lost to Renton two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Red Wolves fell just short of the Red Hawks by a score of 41-39.

Renton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Precious Miles, who posted eight points in addition to 11 boards and five blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Gigi Victo Hill, who put up 15 points and six rebounds.

Cedarcrest's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Renton, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Cedarcrest nor Renton have any future games scheduled.
