Graham waltzed into their contest on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 56-12 victory over the Richlands Blue Tornado. That's more bragging rights for the G-Men, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Graham's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Garrett Palmer led the charge by rushing for 68 yards and one score. Those 68 rushing yards gave Palmer a new career-high. Conner Cecil was another key rusher, rushing for 66 yards and one TD on only seven carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Graham was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 356 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 196 rushing yards in seven consecutive games.

Graham didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Jaron Lane, Gage Palmer, and Cambel Fix picked up one apiece. Palmer got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Graham's record now sits at 7-3. As for Richlands, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-4 record.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Graham will be playing at home against Gate City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Richlands, they will head out on the road to take on Ridgeview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolfpack's defense has only allowed 12.8 points per game this season, so the Blue Tornado's offense will have their work cut out for them.
