Football Recap: Wando Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Wando's offense. They fell 8-0 to the Cane Bay Cobras on Friday. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cobras apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Wando's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Cane Bay, they moved to 2-5 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Wando will face off against rival Berkeley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cane Bay is set to challenge their familiar foe Stratford at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
