Football Game Preview: Durango Demons vs. Rampart Rams + How To Watch

Durango is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Thursday. They will be playing at home against the Rampart Rams at 6:00 p.m. Durango will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Durango's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Grand Junction 31-0. That 31 point margin sets a new team best for the Demons this season.

Durango got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Grady Feeney out in front who rushed for 49 yards and a pair of scores, and also threw for 124 yards and two TDs. The dominant performance also gave Feeney a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (two). Another rusher making a difference was Gus Halls, who rushed for 131 yards.

Durango's defense stepped up as well, laying out Andrew Neese. three times. Hayes Fancher was especially locked on to Grand Junction's QB and sacked him twice. Another thorn in the Tigers' side was Oliver Clark, who picked up a sack, forced two fumbles, and made 11 total tackles (5.0 for loss).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rampart). They enjoyed a cozy 26-7 win over Doherty last Friday. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Durango's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Rampart, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Durango strolled past Rampart in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a score of 21-6. Will the Demons repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
