Recap: Sanford Warriors vs. Perkiomen Valley Vikings
The Sanford Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Sunday after their third straight loss. They fell 39-32 to Perkiomen Valley.
Perkiomen Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Quinn Boettinger led the charge by scoring 14 points. The contest was Boettinger's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Grace Galbavy, who scored 11 points.
Sanford now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Perkiomen Valley, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sanford will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Dover at 1:30 p.m. on January 6, 2024. Perkiomen Valley will be home for the holidays to greet Boyertown at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Boyertown focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday.
