Baseball Game Preview: Greenback Cherokees vs. Harriman Blue Devils

For the second straight game, Greenback will face off against Harriman. The Cherokees will be playing in front of their home fans against the Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Greenback has six straight victories, Harriman has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

While Greenback's win against Harriman wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cherokees narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Blue Devils 5-4.

Cooper Holt was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
