Softball Recap: Littleton Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Littleton's offense. They fell 4-0 to Maynard on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, Littleton's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Littleton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maeve Tule, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles.

Littleton's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Maynard, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Littleton will take on Tyngsborough at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Maynard, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Murdock at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
