Basketball Recap: East Starts off Right with Win over Mckinley

East gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They took down the McKinley Red Dragons 62-45.

East got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Alberto Maldonado out in front who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyris Davis, who put up 16 points.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East will host Marlington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for McKinley, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
