Volleyball Recap: Woodland Park Comes Up Short

Woodland Park saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 3-1 to the Platte Valley Broncos. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Addy Grossnickle was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 15 digs and two aces. What's more, she posted two assists, the most she's had since back in September.

Woodland Park's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Platte Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Woodland Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Platte Valley, they will square off against Grandview at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday.
