Basketball Recap: Augusta E Comes Up Short

After flying high against Georgia School for Innovation & Classics on Tuesday, Augusta E came back down to earth. The Eagles took a 70-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Hurricanes: they've now lost eight in a row.

Augusta E's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Coastal HomeSchool, their win was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 30-2.

Augusta E does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Coastal HomeSchool, they will take on Westminster Schools of Augusta at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
