Volleyball Recap: Dublin Coffman Takes a Loss

Dublin Coffman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Upper Arlington Golden Bears. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Shamrocks of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-23, 17-25, 25-22.

Aaden Wallace paced Dublin Coffman's offense, picking up 11 kills. Wallace also shared the team's lead in assists with Antonio Vazquez: they picked up two each. Finally, Will Gress kept Dublin Coffman's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Dublin Coffman's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Upper Arlington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Dublin Coffman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Hilliard Bradley on the 10th. As for Upper Arlington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Hayes on the 9th.
