Softball Recap: Pope John Paul II Knights vs. Harpeth Hall Honeybears
Pope John Paul II barely beat Harpeth Hall the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Knights blew past the Honeybears 14-4 on Tuesday. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six runs or more this season.
Laney Jackson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 4.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (four). She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
