Prospect Mountain had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They never let the Gilford Golden Eagles get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. For the Timberwolves, this counts as revenge for the 11-1 win the Golden Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Prospect Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Gilford, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Prospect Mountain is set to take on their familiar foe Raymond at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Gilford will face off against rival Somersworth at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
