Bingham faced Mountain Ridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Miners won by a run and slipped past the Sentinels 1-0. Winning may never get old, but the Miners sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Not much got past Beckham Lindsey, who gave up just five hits to keep Mountain Ridge off the board. Lindsey has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Bingham's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Porter Larsen, who went 3-for-4 with one double. That's the most hits Larsen has posted since back in May of 2025.

Bingham's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Mountain Ridge, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-6.

Bingham will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Sentinels: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
