Eaton waltzed into their match on Thursday with 15 straight wins... but they left with 16. They came out on top against the Platte Valley Broncos by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Reds, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Eaton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-14, 25-15, 25-11.

Madi Smith paced Eaton's offense, picking up 14 kills. Smith were helped by Trinity Salberg and Skyelyn Lefever, who contributed 17 assists each. Katie St Jean controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Eaton's victory bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Platte Valley, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 9-8 record.
