Basketball Game Preview: Dover Green Wave vs. Keene Blackbirds

The Dover Green Wave will head out to challenge the Keene Blackbirds at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Dover lost to Alvirne at home by a 67-49 margin. The Green Wave have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Keene came up short against Bishop Guertin on Tuesday and fell 73-63. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (60), the Blackbirds still had to take the loss.

Dover's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Keene, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-5 record this season.

Dover might still be hurting after the 66-44 loss they got from Keene in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Dover avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
