Tri-Valley put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the McCook Central/Montrose Fighting Cougars with a sharp 16-1 win. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Tri-Valley's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for McCook Central/Montrose, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
