Volleyball Game Preview: Henry-Senachwine Mallards vs. Seneca Fighting Irish

The Henry-Senachwine Mallards will take on the Seneca Fighting Irish at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Henry-Senachwine comes in on five and Seneca on four.

Henry-Senachwine is headed into the match having just posted their closest win since September 22nd on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Dwight 2-1.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Henry-Senachwine who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 22-25, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Seneca earned a 2-0 victory over St. Bede on Tuesday.

Seneca's win bumped their record up to 20-7. As for Henry-Senachwine, their victory bumped their record up to 27-4.

Henry-Senachwine was able to grind out a solid win over Seneca in their previous meeting back in September, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mallards since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
