It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but East Webster ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They skirted past the Kosciusko Whippets 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Wolverines: when they faced off against the Whippets back in February, they had to take a 16-4 loss.

Jace Yates tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits.

On the hitting side, Stetson Perkins was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
