Basketball Recap: Our Redeemer's Christian Now 13-1 over Last 14 Games

With a playoff win on the line, Our Redeemer's Christian rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They strolled past the Westhope/Newburg Sioux with points to spare, taking the game 55-39. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Knights considering their 27-point performance the contest before.

Loss or not, Westhope/Newburg got some senior leadership from Walker Braaten and Braden Bailey. Braaten posted 15 points and six rebounds, while Bailey went 6-for-12 on his way to 13 points. Hunter Tolstad was another key player, putting up two points in addition to six boards and three blocks.

Our Redeemer's Christian is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.9 points over those games. Westhope/Newburg's defeat dropped their record down to 20-4.
