Recap: Salem Greyhounds vs. Quitman Bulldogs
The Salem Greyhounds put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by Quitman at home to the tune of 50-0. The result was nothing new for Salem, who have now won five matchups by 26 points or more so far this season.
Elijah Romine went supernova for Salem, rushing for 183 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per carry. Kaden Brink was another key contributor, rushing for 108 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.
Salem's victory was their ninth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 10-0. As for Quitman, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
Salem does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Quitman also has no future games currently scheduled.
