Basketball Recap: Desert Ridge Comes Up Short

Desert Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 66-48 bruising from the Williams Field Black Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-51 back in December of 2024.

Desert Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Williams Field, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Desert Ridge will challenge Highland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Williams Field, they will take on Queen Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Williams Field is facing Queen Creek at the right time seeing as Queen Creek is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
