Softball Recap: Monday's Win Is Franklin Central's Seventh in Last Nine Outings

Franklin Central won the last time they faced Fishers and things went their way on Monday too. The Flashes came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 16-11.

Audrina Yorn was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Ireland, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and one double.

Franklin Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .488. They are 12-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Franklin Central has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.9 runs over those games. As for Fishers, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-10.
