Luke Davison was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. Davison has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances. Davison was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI.
Clinton Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-13-1. As for Frontier, their victory bumped their record up to 14-9.
