Baseball Recap: Hoover Vikings vs. Justice Wolves

On Tuesday, Hoover got themselves on the board against Justice, but Justice never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Justice Wolves with a sharp 7-0 win.

Mason Ashby made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. Ashby was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with a triple and a run.

In other batting news, Daniel Holihan was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. Holihan is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's stolen at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Jake Donaldson was another key contributor, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two RBI.
