Baseball Recap: Seckinger Takes a Loss

Seckinger and Pope squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Seckinger had to settle for second. They lost 10-2 to the Greyhounds. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Greyhounds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-1 on Wednesday.

Seckinger saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jin Kasuya, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Seckinger has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-16 record this season. As for Pope, the win (which was their 23rd in a row) raised their record to 29-3.

As of now, neither Seckinger nor the Greyhounds have any future games scheduled.
