The Noble Knights will venture away from home to take on the Falmouth Navigators at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Noble's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so Falmouth's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Noble will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Sanford on Thursday. The Knights were the clear victors by a 15-2 margin over the Spartans. That 13-run margin sets a new team best for the Knights this season.
Carl Gregoire made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Noble is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 0-3 otherwise. Gregoire was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. That stolen base marked the first that he has snagged this season.

In other batting news, Noble got a massive performance out of Owen Orlando, who went 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those three hits gave Orlando a new career-high. Alec Hale was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
Noble always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .636. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Falmouth entered their tilt with Deering on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with an 8-3 win over the Rams.
Like Noble, Falmouth also got a great game from a two-way player: Jacoby Porter. He struck out ten batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Porter was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
In other pitching news, Charlie Engle looked comfortable as he tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Joah D'Andrea, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Harper Drosdik, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
The victory got Noble back to even at 3-3. As for Falmouth, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
