Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Harlem Castro and Lena Lao Lead Marshall to Victory

Marshall won the last time they faced Baldwin Park and things went their way on Thursday too. The Eagles walked away with a 3-1 win over the Braves. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 21-25, 25-13, 25-19.

Leading Marshall to victory were Lena Lao and Harlem Castro. Lao had 18 digs and two aces, while Castro had six aces and three digs. That's the most digs Lao has posted since back in August.

Marshall's record is now 6-3. As for Baldwin Park, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Marshall will head out to take on El Monte at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Baldwin Park, they will welcome Mark Keppel at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
