Basketball Game Recap: Countryside Cougars vs. Pinellas Park Patriots

Countryside won the last time they faced Pinellas Park, and Carter Padags did his part to make sure it happened again. The Countryside Cougars blew past the Pinellas Park Patriots 74-22 on Tuesday thanks in part to Padags, who went 9 of 14 from beyond the arc on his way to 35 points. Those 35 points gave him a new career-high.

Devonte Hunter and Christian Campbell certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Hunter posted seven points, while Campbell put up three points.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-2. As for Pinellas Park, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Countryside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 75-60 win against Dunedin on the 12th. As for Pinellas Park, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 80-43 loss against Clearwater on the 13th.
