Holy Cross strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 36-30 W against the Buena Chiefs. The Lancers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Shane Reilley was his usual excellent self, throwing for 181 yards and three TDs on only 12 passes, while also punching in one touchdown on the ground.

Holy Cross' win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Buena, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holy Cross will welcome Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Lancers 13.8, the Rams 12) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Buena, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bishop Eustace Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
