Volleyball Recap: Port Edwards Takes a Loss

Port Edwards lost against Necedah back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Blackhawks fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 2-1.

McKenzy Smith paced Port Edwards' offense, picking up five kills. Smith got some help from Taylin McDonald and her 14 assists. Evelyn Tranel controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Port Edwards now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Necedah, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Port Edwards has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Almond-Bancroft on the 28th. As for Necedah, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Brookwood on the 4th.
