St. Peters' Prep takes over top spot with win over Paramus Catholic.
St. Peter's Prep (Jersey City, N.J.) defeated Paramus Catholic (N.J.) 34-18 in the Non-Public Group 4 championship game and moved into the No. 1 spot in the MaxPreps Northeast Region Football Computer Rankings.
St. Peter's Prep will likely finish the year with the No. 1 ranking, however St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia) and Pine-Richland (Gibsonia, Pa.) could make it close. Those two teams play for the Pennsylvania Class 4A state championship this week and are currently ranked No. 3 and 4, respectively.
