Soccer Game Preview: Burbank vs. Edison

Burbank hasn't had much luck against Edison recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Golden Bears at 5:00 p.m. Burbank will be strutting in after a win while Edison will be coming in after a loss.

While Burbank's victory against Seguin wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs beat the Matadors by a goal, winning 2-1. Burbank haven't had any issues with Seguin recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Edison's game on Saturday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Highlands by a score of 1-0.

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-2. As for Burbank, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.

Burbank might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Edison in their previous meeting back in March of 2025. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
