The Heartland Christian Lions are taking a road trip to take on the United Golden Eagles at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. Heartland Christian is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

Heartland Christian not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 17, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Cardinal Mooney with a sharp 3-0 win.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-15, 25-19.

Meanwhile, United beat David Anderson 3-1 on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Golden Eagles in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won three in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 21-25, 25-18, 25-23.

Heartland Christian's record now sits at 7-3. As for United, their record is now an identical 7-3.

Heartland Christian couldn't quite get it done against United when the teams last played back in August as they fell 2-0. Can the Lions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
